All patients are either being discharged or transferred to other hospitals. At 2:15 pm, 34 patients walked out of the hospital after fully recovering from COVID-19. They will go back home for another 14-day quarantine.

Ten patients with severe symptoms have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Hubei Province and 66 patients with mild symptoms to the First People’s Hospital in Wuhan.

It is the first temporary makeshift hospital in Wuhan that has suspended operation since the outbreak. Chinese netizens commented: “Hope all the other patients recover soon and all the temporary medical shelters accomplish their missions at an early date.”

Although the hospital suspended operation, its staff members, all of whom are from North China's Shanxi Province, will be on call in case of any emergency.

Since February 11, the Qiaokou temporary makeshift hospital has received a total of 330 patients, with 232 people cured.
