The most traditional way to celebrate New Year's Eve in China is to ring the bell and make New Year's wishes. Jietai Temple, a Buddhist temple in Mentougou District in western Beijing, was constructed during the Tang Dynasty. Tonight, the temple will follow the custom of striking the bell 108 times to welcome the 2019.

The Place is regarded as the most romantic place to celebrate the occasion. Located in the central business district (CBD) of Beijing, The Place is famous for its huge sky-screen overhead. Measuring 250 meters long and 30 meters wide, it is the second largest LED screen throughout the world. Each year on this special occasion, it attracts large crowds of people to appreciate the enchanting view.

However, a kindly reminder that temperatures are very low in Beijing right now. Keep yourself warm and have a great new year!
