The news that 23 top scenic spots in Wuhan are offering free entry to domestic tourists in return for the nationwide contributions to the city’s anti-virus fight has gone viral online. Netizens in Wuhan extended their welcome to visitors, while others expressed their expectations to go to Wuhan.
On the first day of free admission, the number of tourists in 5A-level scenic spots in Wuhan, such as Yellow Crane Tower and Mulan Tianchi, soared to more than three times the volume of previous days. Other tourist attractions in Wuhan also saw a surge of tourists.
