Tourists from 59 countries will enjoy visa-free entrance to South China's Hainan Province from May 1, the Ministry of Public Security announced on Wednesday.
The visa-free entry permit lasts 30 days.
Foreign tourists are not allowed to travel out of Hainan during the visa-free period.
The 59 countries are: Russia, Britain, France, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Monaco and Belarus.
