A sudden tornado smashed the inflatable castle, killing two and injuring seven others in Laiyuan county, North China's Hebei Province Thursday.

Around 2:50 pm, the tornado slammed into the castle in Mayuan Square, Laiyuan County. 

One of the injured died in the hospital while the others were in stable condition, according to Beijing Youth Daily. 

Local authorities have formed a team to investigate the incident and handle the aftermath. 

Public security authorities have detained three people, the report said.
