The two persons would be sent to hospital for further tests and they were not yet listed as confirmed cases of COVID-19, the center said.
They were among the 109 Macao residents who boarded two flights back to the special administrative region from Tokyo on Jan. 21.
The passengers first departed from around a dozen countries and one of them tested positive for COVID-19 after arrival.
Besides staying at a hotel for medical observation for 21 days and at least seven additional days of health self-management afterwards, the passengers were required to undergo nucleic acid tests for four times and take antibody tests twice.
