Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said on Thursday it is unjustified for the United States to impose sanctions against Chinese enterprises and individuals for their involvement in construction in their own country, and China will take firm measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its companies and individuals.
