China's lunar program on Friday released the first video from the lunar lander that touched down on the previously unexplored far side of the moon.
China confirmed the soft-landing of its Chang’e-4 probe on January 3 and issued a close-up photo of the landing site taken by the lander-rover combination. The rover Yutu-2, meaning Jade Rabbit 2, is on the move exploring the moon’s South Pole-Aitken Basin after separating from the lander.
