A photo exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers Army joining the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea opened in Beijing on Friday. A total of over 40 historic photos taken and preserved by veterans were on display, vividly depicting the realities of the war.

Jointly organized by eight higher education institutions, including the School of Journalism at the Communication University of China and China Academy of Social Management of Beijing Normal University, the exhibition will tour the country in cities such as Nanjing, Taiyuan and Shantou.
