The courier first started delivering her orders at 8pm and ended at 3 the following morning.

The courier said that although he already knew there would be a large number of packages coming, he didn’t expect them to be that many. Considering the storage issue of the express station’s warehouse and the safety of the packages, the express station had to rent a temporary warehouse.

The State Post Bureau said couriers have sent over 300 million packages on November 13, and peaked at 345 million on November 14, a new record for the courier service.

Goods ordered during the e-commerce “Double 11” promotion has entered the peak delivery season. Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu were among the cities with the most number of orders.
