Wu Jing and Liu Yifei win Gold Crane Award at China Film Week in Tokyo

Beijing- Chinese actor and director Wu Jing and actress Liu Yifei were rewarded as the Best Actor and Best Actress at the China Film Week of the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), which kicked off on October 26, 2017. 

The two received the Gold Crane Award for their recent works: Wolf Warrior 2 and Once Upon A Time respectively.  

Wolf Warrior 2, which will have its last showing day on the Chinese mainland on October 28, is estimated to end with an total box office of 5.68 billion yuan ($856 million) .

Once Upon A Time is a fantasy romance movie based on the best-selling and famous novel entitled "Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossom" or also known as "To The Sky Kingdom," written by Tangqi Gongzi. 

Some 200 films will be screened at theaters in Tokyo's downtown Roppongi and other areas in the next 10 days.
