The Wuhan government on Friday extended its condolences over the passing of Dr. Li Wenliang.

“We extend our condolences to his family and commend him fighting on the frontline,” said an official statement. 

Li from Wuhan Central Hospital died from the novel coronavirus infection on Friday.
