Many local residents go for walks and cycling along Wuhan’s East Lake greenway on Monday to enjoy the spring.
Residents must have their body temperatures checked before entering the greenway.
Wuhan, previously the epicenter of COVID-19 outbreak, gradually regains its former vitality as the city’s epidemic situation greatly improves after a months-long lockdown.
The East Lake, or Donghu Lake, in the east of Wuhan, has become a popular eco-tourism spot since the completion of the greenway.
The 102-kilometer greenway, with trees planted on the lakeside, connects islands, lakeside parks and small nearby ponds.
