Wuhan, the hardest-hit city of the novel coronavirus epidemic in China, has gradually reopened some commercial outlets to its residents in an orderly manner.

Each resident or community volunteer needs an electronic health code to enter the supermarket. One also needs to have their temperature taken and real name registration at the supermarket gate.

Commercial outlets in residential communities and villages without existing confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases can resume business, the Wuhan municipal bureau of commerce said last Friday.
