CHANGCHUN, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on Thursday inspected Changchun, the capital city of northeast China's Jilin Province.

Xi visited a residential community, a school for training community cadres, an urban planning exhibition facility, and the R&D headquarters of automaker FAW Group.
