A yacht with eight passengers on board caught fire and sank in waters off Hong Kong on Friday, hk.on.cc website reported.

The fire was soon put out as the fire department arrived near Hong Kong's New Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter. However, the yacht was too damaged to stay afloat.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. All passengers on board were rescued, and no one was hurt.
