Madame Tussauds Beijing in the historical Qianmen area recently unveiled a wax figure of Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu, featuring the former Golden Horse winner standing elegantly in a yellow gown.

In 2010, the actress became an overnight success by starring in Under the Hawthorn Tree by director Zhang Yimou. And in 2016, she shared Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival's best actress award with Ma Sichun for Soul Mate.

A team flew from the United Kingdom to Beijing to take measurements for her wax figure. And they spent about six months working on the wax replica in the UK.

Zhou said she was satisfied with the wax replica and joked that the wax figure's facial skin is very good. She posed for photos with the wax figure and urged her fans to take photos with it.

Also, she got her own hand mold as a present from Madame Tussauds Beijing.
