Aolong beat Shougang in CBA Beijing derby

BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Former New York Knicks player Ricardo Ledo scored a 3-pointer in the dying seconds, helping Aolong beat Shougang 104-102 in a Beijing derby in the 40th round of the 2018-2019 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Thursday.

With the victory, Aolong put an end to its 15-game losing streak.

Prior to Thursday's encounter, Aolong had met Shougang seven times with a 2-5 win-lose record.

The underdogs, however, managed to win the first half 47-46 before Shougang jumped to an 86-71 lead through efforts of their international players after three quarters.

Aolong then turned over the table as Ledo stepped forward.

Ledo had 34 points and 10 rebounds, Thomas Robinson added 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Yu Liang had 24 points.

Elsewhere in Thursday's CBA fixtures, Guangzhou beat Shanxi 136-126 and Liaoning crushed Jiangsu 119-96.
