Australia Post issues stamps to mark the Year of the Pig

A prepaid postcard featuring one of the Australia Post Year of the Pig stamps. The pig is the last sign on the 12-animal Chinese Zodiac. The Year of the Pig begins with the arrival of the Chinese Lunar New Year on February 5, 2019.

Stamps featuring signs of the Chinese Zodiac have been issued in Australia for the past 12 years in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The pig stamps, which were released on Tuesday, will be the last in this series.
