Miu Pusun “in young years learnt brush painting from the Piling painter Jiang Kezhuang, and was a second-generation follower of Huang Shanshou.” As a successor of the Piling School of painting, he took the Song-dynasty “boneless” painting method with new ideas, becoming a famous representative of modern chrysanthemum painter in Shanghai. His chrysanthemums paintings are full and dynamic in composition, resplendent and gorgeous in colour, and fine and exquisite in technique. This album leaves of Miu Pusun’s  One Hundred Chrysanthemum Pictures, counting one hundred leaves, displayed 187 kinds of chrysanthemum flowers. Each chrysanthemum type corresponds with its actual variety in nature. In this Golden Autumn, may the audience can study the nature of things, and therein extend the knowledge to the utmost through the enclosure of one hundred chrysanthemums created by  Miu Pusun.
