The Chinese men's and women's teams garnered 5 gold medals on Thursday as rowers won the final sessions of several rowing disciplines held at the Jakabaring Sports City (JSC) lake.

China has collected 50 gold, 33 silver and 15 bronze medals, leading the Asian Games medal tally as of Thursday afternoon, followed by Japan, who have collected 20 gold, 25 silver, and 28 bronze medals.
