Rome (People's Daily)- A Chinese oil painting exhibit is on display at the Victoria Palace in Rome.
With the theme “Chinese Connotation,” 63 Chinese artists are showcasing 150 paintings depicting the shades and hues of Chinese culture since the art form was introduced in China 100 years ago.
The exhibit represents the highest level of oil painting in China. To reflect the development of oil painting in China, the sponsor, China National Academy of Painting, carefully selected the art works of different genres and styles in the past one and half years.
The exhibit ends on September 9.
