Elderly man keeps diary of wife's dementia

They got married in 1968 and had four children. Zhang is proud of their marriage.
Zhang started keeping a diary in 2008, as he was afraid he’d forget things as he got older. In the same year, his wife was diagnosed with dementia.
He writes down details of his wife’s medicine, walking, chats and diets, so as to adjust medication for her when they see doctors.
Each day, he writes around 200 words and after 11 years, his seven to eight notebooks contain almost 800,000 words. (Compiled by Dong Feng)
