Variety show explores meaning of life in picturesque setting

Say Hello to Life, an acclaimed variety show produced by China Central Television, has again teamed up popular anchors Negmat Rehman and Sa Beining to explore the meaning of life during a trip to the picturesque Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The second season of the program -- which brings together celebrities including veteran host Ni Ping and actor-turned businessman Li Yapeng – has run on the CCTV-3, CCTV's official site, and the streaming platform Tencent Video since Nov 4.

Continuing the first season's theme to escape hustle and bustle of stressful urban life, the two hosts travel to Xinjiang, also Rehman's hometown, to organize an outdoor concert, which draws singers Liu Xijun, Bai Jugang and the folk duo Good Sister.

Besides, actress Cai Ming – famous for her comedy sketches at the country's annual Spring Festival galas – as well as veteran hosts Zhu Xun and Zhang Lei have also joined as guest celebrities in the show.

Rehman and Sa say they wish the show could help youngsters to take a break from their fast-paced office life, sparing a bit of time to think about their dreams and the life goal they really want to fulfill.
