From preschool to vocational training, from classroom assessment to after-school life, a set of targeted, people-centered education measures has been taking root across east China's Anhui Province, benefiting families in real and practical ways.

Since the fall semester of 2025, Anhui has fully waived care and education fees for the final year of preschool. In basic education, the focus has shifted toward quality and healthier growth. Schools now ensure at least two hours of on-campus physical activity each day for primary and secondary students, and written tests for first- and second-graders have been removed, helping learning return to what matters most: building skills, habits and well-rounded development.

Vocational education has also gained strong momentum. By integrating resources and deepening partnerships between schools and industry, Anhui is making training more connected to real jobs and future demand.

This all-round education upgrade is widening the path for every child to learn and thrive, while strengthening the talent foundation that supports long-term regional development.
