A fashion show on March 27 at the 2026 China Fashion Week in Beijing showcased traditional bridal wear from all 56 of China's ethnic groups.

Behind the bridal show is Yang Chunlin, founder of fashion brand Village T, whose fashions feature the embroidery of the Miao people from Guizhou Province.

Yang said the event aimed to celebrate the diversity and beauty of wedding attire from China's ethnic groups.

"We want the world to see the confidence in Chinese clothing and the most beautiful version of Chinese women," Yang, known as Gu Axin on social media, said in a vlog posted on March 6.
