For over twenty years in rural China, Brian Linden has turned China-US cultural exchange into a lived experience through the Linden Centre. From hands-on cultural experiences to heritage preservation, each interaction brings people closer together.

To him, the most moving part of Chinese culture is the timeless hospitality and openness captured in Confucius' saying "Isn't it a joy to have friends come from afar?" Only through authentic experiences and personal connections can the world feel a China that is tangible, heartfelt and alive.
