A major retrospective of Italian artist Giorgio Morandi is now on show at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai, bringing together more than 200 works and exhibits. Tracing his journey from early experiments to his iconic still life works, the exhibition "Giorgio Morandi: Solo" explores Morandi's fascination with everyday objects, color and light. It also highlights his interest in Chinese printmaking and watercolor, offering Chinese audiences a chance to discover connections between Morandi's subtle colors and atmospheres and the traditions of Chinese painting.
