ASEAN media partners share their Hainan wish list

The 2026 "China Walk: Vibrant Hainan" joint media tour for ASEAN media partners has officially kicked off in Hainan, an island province in southern China.

Jointly hosted by China Media Group's (CMG) Asian and African Languages Programming Center and Hainan Bureau, the tour brings together media representatives from eight ASEAN countries – Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam – to explore Sanya City, Wuzhishan City and Lingshui Li Autonomous County.

They are discovering innovations in tropical agriculture, the charm of eco-tourism, the richness of ethnic cultures and rural revitalization, and the latest developments in the Hainan Free Trade Port's opening-up in education, shopping and healthcare.
