Exhibition on overseas Chinese kicks off in Beijing

BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition opened at the National Museum of China to mark the contribution that overseas Chinese made to the motherland.

With over 270 items on display, the exhibition features the stories of prestigious figures among returned overseas Chinese, including patriotic philanthropists, scientists, and entrepreneurs.

Titled "Overseas Chinese and New China," the exhibition was co-organized by the National Museum of China and the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

The exhibition will last until Nov. 29.
