Global ambassador for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Kobe Bryant and the President of the Chinese Basketball Association Yao Ming attended the draw for the tournament in Shenzhen on Saturday.

As a result of the draw, China is to hit the court opposite Venezuela, Portland, and Cote d'Ivoire.

The series will start on August 31 and run through to September 15 with games in eight cities across China.
