Qianxi county in Southwest China’s Guizhou Province has increased its support for the local embroidery industry, setting up embroidery workshops for local residents so that they can increase their income and pass on national cultural craftsmanship skills such as embroidery and batik, both important parts of China’s intangible cultural heritage.
