Hisense TV users will enjoy the FIFA World Cup live through the internet on their TVs after Hisense partner and online streaming media Youku reached a broadcast deal with CCTV on Tuesday.

The move means users of Hisense TV, which partners with Youku on smart TV operations, can watch the football world championship through the internet rather than on close-circuit TV. 

Hisense is among four Chinese sponsors of the FIFA World Cup. Its TV products also lead China’s market share. 

The FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15.
