Beijing's Red Brick Art Museum has put its first collection of works from Chinese-French artist Huang Yongping at the center of its new exhibition Thousand-Armed Guanyin, which is named after one of the artist's works.

According to exhibition curator Yan Shijie, the artwork is a starting point for the contemplation of a contemporary museum's art collection, and as such, it has shaped the values of the museum.

The new exhibition takes a look back at the past exhibitions such as Olafur Eliasson: The Unspeakable Openness of Things, Rituals of Signs and Metamorphosis, High Tension: 8 Winners of the Marcel Duchamp Prize and Identification Zone: Chinese and Danish Furniture Design.

Featuring seven artists including Olafur Eliasson, Dan Graham and Qiu Zhijie, the exhibition offers the visitors a chance to view these works again.

The exhibition will end on October 13.
