Herodotus, the father of Western history, once said, “No country has so many amazing things; and no country has so many great achievements that can't be described by pen and ink”.

Magnificent architectural relics, splendid art treasures, mysterious pharaohs, peculiar hieroglyphs, and eternal religious beliefs throughout the history of ancient Egypt are all surprising.During Predynastic Period, the ancient Egyptians formed the concept of “life after death”.

They believed that“life is only a short-term journey while after-death it is a permanent joy.”They described the world after death in an elaborate and romantic way, like an epic, magnificent and soul-stirring.

Affected by the concept of “afterlife”, the ancient Egyptians sincerely prepared everything for life after death. In order to be able to resurrect after death, they used mummies to maintain the integrity of the flesh and hoped the soul to come back to life again.
