A new exhibition featuring the art of everyday life kicked off on Tuesday at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.

According to Song Xiewei, one of the Art-Living Immersive Art & Design Exhibition's two curators, the immersive exhibition located at the center's public art space seeks to give creative design and artworks more opportunity to shine by emphasizing viewer experience. 

"Art and design lie in every corner of our lives and they influence and change our lives," Song noted in the preface to the exhibition.  

Looking to examine daily life over the courses of a 24-hour day, the exhibition uses high-tech means to present spaces for the home, work and outdoors.  

The exhibition will end on July 8.
