The People's Bank of China is scheduled to release the year 2020 edition of the commemorative panda coins on October 30, 2019.

The new edition includes 6 gold coins and 6 silver coins in different weights, which are all China's legal tenders.

They have the image of the Beijing Tiantan Qinian Temple on the front and the picture of a panda eating bamboos on the back.

China released the first edition of commemorative panda coins in 1982 and has since kept the tradition each year.
