On a beach in Samandag district, Hatay Province in southern Turkey, some newly hatched turtles crawled out from the sand and made their way to the Mediterranean Sea. Driven by their instinct, the tiny creatures could not resist the call of the sea despite the many dangers waiting for them there. Volunteers went to the site to help the baby turtles make the journey from the sand to the water.
