NetEase and the Palace Museum have jointly developed a mobile game, “Real Painting, A wonderful painting of the Thousand Mountains, ” which released on January 1 in the IOS App Store.

NetEase transformed a 2D painting scroll to a 3D world, combining horizontal view and free multiple views.

The game makes players into the classical work, A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains. This painting is part of the permanent collection of the Palace Museum.

The plot of the game combines stories from Chinese mythology, such as Classic of Mountains and Seas and Flowers in the Mirror, to be enjoyed by players.

This game is a new way to show the charm of ancient paintings and literature, letting people admire the works and enjoy traditional culture.
