Seven panda cubs on Tuesday made their first public appearance at a breeding base in Chengdu, days before the China’s National Day holiday and the traditional Mid-Autumn festival.

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Southwest China's Sichuan Province held a debut event for the cubs, which were born  this year.

The seven cubs include two sets of twins. Some 10 newborn pandas have survived in 2020, all in good shape, their breeders said.
