What were you doing at 23? Working hard on your college thesis? Looking for a job? Or dating? Our guest for the second episode of PD Café is Raz Galor, an Israeli student in international relations who recently graduated from Peking University and also an Internet celebrity on Chinese social media.

Raz has been living in China for 10 years, but his curiosity about the country and its culture has not been satisfied. He co-founded the Foreigner Research Institute, which posted a series of short videos on Chinese social media showing how foreigners live and experience life in China. The videos have received a huge following for their novelty and fun.

During the interview, Raz also talked about how to introduce China and Chinese culture to the world. If China wants to connect to the world, it needs to find similarities between itself and others. These similarities will encourage more foreigners to come to China to experience its education, working experience and friendship. Raz added that China is in the best era to promote itself.

Just as this episode of PD Café was released, Raz was named among the Top 30 Elites under 30 years old by Forbes China.
