Nely Galán is a New York Times bestselling author, an Emmy Award winning producer of more than 700 television shows in English and Spanish and founder of The Adelante Movement, which aims to empower Latina and multicultural women entrepreneurs. As such a successful woman, Ms. Galán impressed me with her strong charisma when we first met. And to be honest, I felt a little bit nervous.

In the interview, Ms. Galán told us how important it is to invest in ourselves when we are young. “Buy buildings, not shoes!” I felt quite inspired by the catchy words that Ms. Galán said at the end of the interview.
