Masterpieces by Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali are being exhibited in a museum in Lanzhou City, northwest China's Gansu Province, to mark the 45th anniversary of Picasso's death.

The exhibition in Gansu Provincial Museum, opened on Saturday, features 124 works of art, including 109 Picasso's engravings, and 15 Dali's engravings and sculptures.

The museum said the exhibition aims to help audiences explore art history and the history of the human spirit through Picasso's cubism and Dali's surrealism.

The exhibition runs until October 7.
