China Media Group (CMG), the state radio and television broadcaster in China, will soon open its first municipal bureau in the city of Shanghai.

It will adjoin the broadcaster's first regional bureau: the Yangtze River Delta Regional Bureau. Together they will support the organization's local operations, including the production of sports content and film production.

The construction of the building for the two bureaus was already completed.
