From California to Peru, skateboarding bulldogs have rolled into the spotlight with the breed's seemingly natural propensity for the sport.

That goes for the other side of the Pacific, too, where a trio of three bulldogs has caught attention in East China for shredding their local city square.

"It was really hard at the beginning and took me a lot of time to train them. I needed to be very patient," owner Chen Chao told btime.com.

Chen said he takes his three dogs to Linyi, Shandong Province to skate everyday.

"Chenfugui is the best of three. He already can steer well," said Chen, while another named Mogu (which translates to "mushroom"), is the speed demon of the bunch.

Chen said he got training tips from exactly where bulldog skateboarders first rose to worldwide fame: the internet. "My dogs love food, so I would often use food as a reward while training them."

That's not to say this pack hasn't seen their fair share of wipeouts. "They once skated into a small pond… Sometimes, they push each other on the skateboard. It's really funny."

Chen said he's gearing up his pups for more advanced stunts. "I'm training them to roll through 100 people's legs," Chen said.
