The world's first ice-skating dog is a rescue Labrador. Benny has been trained to skate for a year by his owner, Cheryl Del Sangro, a retired ice skater coach. (Photos: VCG)

During its first foray on the ice last winter, Benny showed his ability on the ice.

His owner fitted the dog with a special pair of skates on his front paws and took him to training every two weeks.

Now, he can also do turns, crossovers, and bunnyhops.

Cheryl and Benny have big plans, and she hope to teach Benny a full-on routine to music and even get him a spot in shows. (Compiled by Yan Yiqiao)
