Nizhny Novgorod Stadium is located in a historical Strelka district at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers, close to the city’s historical center. It has a capacity of 45,000.

The area offers a wonderful view of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, situated on the other side of the Oka.

The stadium's design is inspired by aspects of nature in the Volga region – water and wind, and boasts vivid color patterns of white, navy blue and azure.

The massive roof that rests on a metal framework weighting more than 11,000 tons is offset by the light façade and the translucent rooftop.

By evening, the white colonnade circling the stadium will be lit up.

The stadium is now the home arena for FC Olympiec.
