CHONGQING, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese runner Zhao Na won the women's half marathon at the 2019 Chongqing International Marathon held on Sunday, with a time of 1 hour 21 minutes 31 seconds, beating Ethiopian runner Worku Dibabe Birhanu to the second place.

Li Zhixuan won a silver medal for China in the women's full marathon race with a time of 2:27:55 and He Yinli finished third in 2:29:13. African runners have dominated this year's event, winning the men's full marathon, men's half marathon and women's full marathon.

2019 Chongqing International Marathon is IAAF Gold Label race and Chinese Athletic Association Gold Medal Race. The event includes full marathon, half marathon, mini marathon and family run with an entry of more than 30,000 from over 50 countries and regions.
