BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.38 percent lower at 2,922.96 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.13 percent to end at 9,876.95 points at midday.
