Chinese mainland reports 63 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

Chinese health authority said on Thursday it received reports of 63 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Wednesday, among which two were domestic cases and 61 were imported.

The Chinese mainland also registered two new deaths, all in Hubei , and 17 new suspected cases on Wednesday.

According to the National Health Commission, 91 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery, while the number of severe cases decreased by 13.

Also on Wednesday 56 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland, including 28 imported ones. The commission said 1,104 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation, including 364 from abroad.
